Portrait of Gradie Mudima

Gradie Mudima

Business graduate heading into brand marketing

I understand how people and organisations behave, and I can explain a process clearly enough that others can follow it.

About

Why brand marketing

I studied Business Organizational Management at Université Don Bosco de Lubumbashi, and I’m now doing a PG Dip in Management Marketing.

I want to work on digital and social campaigns because I like understanding why people act the way they do, and how organisations shape that.

I speak four languages: French, English, Lingala and Swahili. Outside work I take sport, music and community work seriously.

Proof

Three things I’ve done

Leading new trainees

Situation
At Minerals and Metals Group, new trainees joined the warehouse team.
Action
I took the lead of 10 to 15 of them and showed them the FIFO/LIFO process.
Result
They were taught the process directly by me.

Keeping the warehouse record

Situation
During my internship, I was responsible for storage entry and exit.
Action
I recorded every item moving in and out, using FIFO and LIFO.
Result
The record stayed in my hands.

Researching employee security

Situation
My final-year undergraduate research.
Action
I studied the security of employees in the mine.
Result
I scored 72%.
